I have got the opportunity to write the article in local architect website http://www.laskaunas.lt/naujienos/jaunuju-publikacijos/. The article is about Petrašiūnai, Kaunas district, which has a lot of ruined factories and their territories without function and future perspective. I analyse the history of this district and suggest the future plans for better development of this territory.
It is first part of the article. I am planing to write second too. It will be from my MA diploma work The Conversion of Kaunas Paper Factory to The Petrašiūnai Centre of Education, Culture and Sports as the possibility to converse the old paper factory to public and alive district centre. Also, I will analyse others ruined territories and their possibilities to be converted in various functions objects.
